“All’s Fair: Hulu’s Latest Hit Show Reviewed”
Earlier this past week, Disney premiered the first three episodes of the new series “All’s Fair” by Ryan Murphy on Hulu and Disney+. In just three days, the show has become Hulu Originals’ most successful scripted series debut in three years, drawing in a global audience of 3.2 million viewers.
The show follows a group of female divorce lawyers who break away from a male-dominated law firm to start their own powerful practice. These fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complex women navigate through high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting loyalties, both in the courtroom and among themselves. In a world where money talks and love is a battlefield, these women don’t just play the game—they change it.
Starring Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close, “All’s Fair” promises an engaging story with a strong female-led cast.
Despite receiving criticism from critics, with a mere 5% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the show managed to gain a lot of attention. Viewers were drawn to the series, either through a robust traditional and social media campaign or out of curiosity following the negative reviews, particularly regarding Kim Kardashian’s acting abilities and the overall style of the show.
Kim Kardashian herself took to social media to promote the show with a humorous dig at the critics, showcasing her support for the project.
“All’s Fair” is a production by 20th Television in partnership with Ryan Murphy Television. The series is written and executive produced by Ryan Murphy, who also directs, along with Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, and others. The cast, including Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and more, also serve as executive producers on the show.
While the show has garnered initial success, the true test lies in whether it can maintain its audience in the coming weeks. I personally found the first episode to be visually distracting and the characters to be too exaggerated for my taste. Have you watched “All’s Fair”? Share your thoughts on social media!
