Disney Plus Unveils Significant Update: What to Expect
Disney recently announced a major update to Disney+ that will bring Hulu content more prominently into the app. This update will roll out gradually over the coming weeks, offering users a more dynamic and intuitive browsing experience.
One of the key changes is the addition of a new navigation bar with a “For You” tab that will recommend content based on user preferences. The navigation bar will also include tabs for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN, making it easier to explore each catalog individually.
The updated version of Disney+ is currently being rolled out to subscribers in the United States. If your app hasn’t been updated yet, don’t worry; it will happen gradually to avoid overloading the servers. International users will have to wait a little longer for the update.
In addition to the new navigation bar, the updated Disney+ app will feature new badges like “Season Finale,” “New Series,” and “New Movie” to highlight unique and timely content. The video display and brand row will also be revamped to showcase the latest titles from each brand.
This update marks a significant shift towards integrating Hulu content into Disney+. While international audiences may have to wait a bit longer for the changes, they are definitely on the horizon. So, if your version of Disney+ hasn’t been updated yet, stay patient; it will happen soon.
