HBO Max Orders 2 Drama Pilots From Jeremy Carver, Greg Berlanti, and Bash Doran: Details

HBO Max is on a roll after the huge success of “The Pitt” and has decided to order two new drama pilots in hopes of replicating that success. The streaming platform has given the go-ahead for two one-hour drama projects from Warner Bros. Television.

The first pilot, titled “American Blue,” follows the story of Brian “Milk” Milkovich as he returns to his hometown of Joliet, Illinois, to help out the struggling police force while also trying to find redemption for himself. This project comes from Jeremy Carver. On the other hand, Greg Berlanti and Bash Doran are working on a family drama pilot.

These new drama pilots are aiming to capture the essence of “The Pitt” by following a similar formula of longer episode orders, modest budgets, and annual releases. It’s exciting to see what these talented creators will bring to the table with these new projects.

It looks like HBO Max is doubling down on its success and investing in more quality content for its viewers. Make sure to keep an eye out for these new drama pilots in the future!
