Netflix Renews Romantic Comedy Series Starring Michigan Actress

higan-born actress, Kristen Bell, and Adam Brody, tells the story of an agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi who fall in love and navigate their different lives and families.

Season 2 premiered on Oct. 23, with 18 million views globally and ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s Global English TV list for two weeks, reaching the Top 10 in 82 countries.

Season 3 is set to premiere in 2026, according to Deadline. Creator Erin Foster said, “I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show. It is a privilege to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this.”

The main cast includes Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn. Bell received an Emmy nomination for Best Actress in a comedy series for her role in “Nobody Wants This” in July.

Kristen Bell, originally from Huntington Woods, is known for her roles in “Frozen” as the voice of Princess Anna, “Veronica Mars,” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” She is married to actor Dax Shepard, who is from Milford.
