Jameela Jamil Cast in BBC Legal Drama ‘The Split Up’ for SEO

British actress Jameela Jamil, known for her roles in The Good Place and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, is set to make a guest appearance in a new legal drama from the BBC. The six-part series, titled The Split Up, is set in the world of Manchester’s high-net-worth divorce circuit and centers around the Kishan family, a successful British South Asian law firm whose secrets and loyalties are put to the test.

Jamil, who is also an activist and radio host in the U.K., recently joined the cast on set and posed with her fellow cast member Ritu Arya, who plays Aria Kishan in the series. Her previous television appearance was in 2023 with Poker Face.

The series boasts a talented cast including Sanjeev Bhaskar, Aysha Kala, Arian Nik, Danny Ashok, Dimitri Leonidas, Mawaan Rizwan, Sindhu Vee, Shalini Peiris, and Tom Forbes. Additionally, Lenny Henry and Jane Horrocks will make guest appearances in the show.

The Split Up is based on the original smash-hit series The Split, which starred Nicola Walker, Stephen Mangan, and Annabel Scholey.
