Fubo Reaches 1.63 Million Subscribers After Hulu + Live TV Merger with Disney
Fubo, a popular streaming service, recently reached a milestone with 1.63 million North American subscribers in the third quarter of 2025. This represents a 1% increase from the same period last year. The surge in subscribers comes after the completion of a merger with Disney’s Hulu + Live TV business, creating a powerful live TV streaming platform.
Despite a 2% decline in revenue to $368.6 million in the third quarter, Fubo’s net losses significantly narrowed. The company reported a net loss of $18.8 million, down from $52.4 million in the previous year. The merger with Hulu + Live TV positions Fubo as one of the largest live TV streaming services in the United States.
Both Fubo and Hulu + Live TV will maintain their separate brand identities, ensuring that subscribers continue to enjoy their respective offerings. As CEO David Gandler emphasized, the combined entity now stands as a major player in the American live TV streaming market.
One of the key benefits of the merger is Fubo’s access to the ESPN ecosystem for the first time. This includes platforms like ESPN Radio and ESPN’s website, expanding Fubo’s distribution channels and enhancing its sports content offerings.
Overall, the merger with Disney has brought exciting opportunities for Fubo and its subscribers. With a growing subscriber base and a strengthened position in the market, Fubo is well-poised to continue delivering top-notch streaming entertainment to viewers across North America.
