Rachel Sennott, known for her roles in “Shiva Baby” and “Bottoms,” is bringing her relatable Gen Z comedy to HBO with “I Love LA.” The series, formerly titled the “Untitled Rachel Sennott Project,” premieres tonight, Nov. 2, on HBO and HBO Max.

In “I Love LA,” Sennott not only stars but also directs, writes, and produces the show. She plays Maia, a 27-year-old talent manager in Los Angeles, alongside her boyfriend (played by Josh Hutcherson) and best friends (Jordan Firstman and True Whitaker). When Maia’s college friend Tallulah (played by Odessa A’zion) reenters her life, they must navigate changes in their friendship due to time apart, ambition, and new relationships.
