MTV Cancels ‘Ridiculousness’ Show

Popular viral clip show ‘Ridiculousness’ ended its 14-year run on MTV, with 46 seasons under its belt. The show, which debuted in 2011, was a staple on the network, providing comedic commentary on viral videos, fails, and stunts. Co-hosted by Chanel West Coast and Lauren “Lolo” Wood, ‘Ridiculousness’ garnered a loyal fan base and even inspired spin-offs like ‘Deliciousness’, ‘Adorableness’, and ‘Messyness’.

While production has come to a close, viewers can still catch previously recorded episodes through 2026. Reruns will continue to air on MTV and full seasons are available on Paramount+. The decision to end the show is part of MTV’s strategy to refresh its programming lineup and move towards new creative voices and curated content. Paramount Skydance, the network’s parent company, aims to steer MTV back to its roots of innovative storytelling.
