Paramount TV Layoffs Impact CBS Entertainment, Paramount Plus, MTV, and More
Paramount recently made significant staff cuts across its television divisions after merging with Skydance, resulting in layoffs for several executives. The cuts affected departments such as marketing, communications, business affairs, and programming for the company’s linear broadcast and cable networks.
Executives like Teri Fleming, the executive vice president for Paramount Global Content Distribution, and Pamela Soper and Amanda Palley, both senior vice presidents of current programming at CBS Entertainment, were among those laid off. In addition, communication/PR teams at CBS and Paramount Global Content Distribution also saw layoffs, with executives like Leslie Ryan and Jennifer Weingroff leaving their roles.
Furthermore, in the streaming sector, Paramount+ lost executives like Jeff Grossman, the executive vice president of programming, and Patricia Kollappallil, the senior vice president of corporate communications.
