In another thrilling match, Tatum Paxley seized the NXT Women’s Championship from Jacy Jane. The battle was intense, with both wrestlers’ factions causing interference throughout the match. Paxley’s victory wouldn’t have been possible without a clever move from Shawn Spears, who helped her secure the win. Paxley, who joined WWE in 2022, has had her fair share of unsuccessful title defenses in the past, but she finally emerged victorious at Halloween Havoc.

A sensational moment of the night was the return of Broken Matt and Jeff Hardy. The Hardy brothers faced off against DarkState in a rematch, which was in the champs’ favor with its chaotic “Broken Rules.” In a daring move, almost 50-year-old Jeff Swanton’d off a ladder onto a table, treating fans to some of their classic moves. However, despite their best efforts, The Hardys could not retain their championships, losing to DarkState.

The excitement didn’t end there, as WWE revealed that Gold Rush would be making a long-awaited return for a special two-week event. This year, the event will expand to include title defenses from TNA, AAA, NXT, and EVOLVE.
