Weapons Now Available for Streaming on HBO Max
“Weapons,” the horror/thriller movie from Zach Cregger, writer/director known for his work on Barbarian and The Whitest Kids U’ Know, is set to stream on HBO Max just in time for Halloween. While it has been available to rent or buy digitally since September, you can now catch it on HBO Max starting at midnight PT.
I’ve heard great things about “Weapons” from friends and reviewers alike, so I’m excited to check it out this weekend. The film follows the mysterious disappearance of all but one child from the same class in a small town, leaving everyone wondering what happened.
For those eager to watch but don’t have an HBO Max subscription, you can still rent “Weapons” on digital platforms for a lower price as soon as it hits streaming. Plus, there are options to purchase it digitally at a reduced cost as well. And if you prefer physical copies, there are still regular 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions available.
In our review, IGN gave “Weapons” a solid 9/10, praising it as a genre-blending film with tension, dark humor, and captivating performances from Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, and Alden Ehrenreich. The movie is rated R for violence, gore, and intense scenes, with a runtime of 2 hours and 8 minutes.
Don’t worry about sitting through the credits for a scene afterward—there isn’t one. So grab your popcorn, get cozy, and enjoy “Weapons” streaming on HBO Max!
