We’ve got some exciting news for fans of Zach Cregger’s film, Weapons! After a successful run in theaters, the horror movie starring Julia Garner and Josh Brolin is heading to HBO Max on October 24, with a premiere on HBO following on October 25 at 8PM ET.

In addition to Garner and Brolin, Weapons features a stellar cast including Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan. The film, which raked in $266 million at the global box office on a $38 million budget, has been a hit with critics and audiences alike. It’s even sparking Halloween costume ideas based on Aunt Gladys, played by Madigan in the film.

Weapons is Cregger’s fourth directorial venture and his second foray into horror, after the success of Barbarian, released in 2022. He also produced Companion, directed by Drew Hancock. Next up, Cregger is set to direct a Resident Evil film set in the same universe as the video games, featuring Austin Abrams from Weapons in a new and unique story.

If you’re a fan of deep dives into movie details, Weapons is also available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. The physical version includes special features like insights from Cregger on the film’s origins, a look at the interconnected characters, and a featurette on the spooky town of Maybrook where the story unfolds.

For those eager to catch Weapons, the film is already available for digital purchase and will be streaming on HBO Max starting October 24. Don’t miss this thrilling horror flick!
