HBO Max Raises Subscription Prices Across the Board
HBO Max is shaking things up with a price increase on all subscriptions, effective immediately. This news comes after the platform reverted to its original name earlier this year. New subscribers will see prices go up right away.
The monthly plans for HBO Max Basic With Ads will now be $10.99, HBO Max Standard will cost $18.49, and HBO Max Premium will be $22.99. For those looking at annual plans, they will be priced at $109.99 for HBO Max Basic With Ads, $184.99 for HBO Max Standard, and $229.99 for HBO Max Premium.
If you were already subscribed before Oct. 21, you’ll receive a 30-day notice before your plan renews, with the price increase taking effect on or after Nov. 20. The same notice applies to existing annual subscribers.
Warner Bros. Discovery has not provided the reason for the price hike, but this change is just one of many that HBO Max has undergone recently. The platform rebranded and even changed its logo, all in an effort to better represent its content offerings.
With all these changes happening, HBO Max continues to be a popular streaming option for those looking for a variety of content. Stay tuned for more updates on this evolving streaming service.
