HBO Max Price Increases: When Will New Hikes Hit?
HBO Max is making some changes to its pricing once again, so get ready for some adjustments to your monthly or annual subscription costs. Warner Bros. Discovery recently announced that the cost of all HBO Max plans will be increasing starting Tuesday, Oct. 21.
Here’s the breakdown of the new prices:
– HBO Max Basic With Ads: Monthly – now $10.99 (up by $1/month), Annual – now $109.99 (up by $10/year)
– HBO Max Standard: Monthly – now $18.49 (up by $1.50/month), Annual – now $184.99 (up by $15/year)
– HBO Max Premium: Monthly – now $22.99 (up by $2/month), Annual – now $229.99 (up by $20/year)
These changes will take effect starting Tuesday and will be reflected in your next billing cycle. Monthly subscribers will receive a notification 30 days in advance of their plan renewing, with the price increase applying starting from their next billing date on or after Nov. 20, 2025. Annual subscribers will not see the increase until their renewal date and will also get a 30-day heads-up.
