But here’s the twist—the majority of viewers in that 9.2 million were actually aged 65-74, over-indexed by 8% compared to other age groups. That’s a surprise considering the show’s violent sci-fi theme and focus on corporate power, but hey, senior sci-fi fans are here for it!

Sure, the “Alien” franchise has been around for decades, so those older fans have had time to grow with it. But the success of “Alien: Earth” might also be thanks to its clever mix of streaming and traditional TV formats.
