Netflix Releases Documentary on AJ Owens’ Murder: The Perfect Neighbor

Netflix released a new documentary called “The Perfect Neighbor,” which delves into the tragic murder of Ajike “AJ” Owens by her neighbor Susan Lorincz in Ocala in 2023. This gripping documentary hit Netflix on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Last month, TV20 aired a special report on this case, which included an exclusive interview with Lorincz from prison at the Correctional Institution in South Florida. Lorincz was found guilty of manslaughter in August 2024 and was handed a 25-year prison sentence in November of the same year.
