Stephen Colbert Joins Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Series

ate Show with Stephen Colbert, has landed a fantastic voice acting role in the upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series. If you’re a fan of Colbert’s nerdy side, you’ll be thrilled to hear that he will be voicing the Digital Dean of Students, essentially an AI school announcement system for the spacefaring students.

Colbert shared a fun announcement video at New York Comic Con, joking about some of the lines he’ll get to say in his new role. And let me tell you, they’re out of this world! Set in the 32nd century, the show follows the Federation as they navigate a post-apocalyptic galaxy and open a brand new Starfleet Academy. With fresh faces like Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, and Kerrice Brooks, the series promises to bring some new blood into the Star Trek universe.

But don’t worry, there are familiar faces too! Holly Hunter, Tig Notaro, and Oded Fehr will be joining the cast, along with a special appearance from Robert Picardo reprising his holographic Doctor role from Star Trek: Voyager, now 900 years older.
