Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Documentary and Final Show Concert Film on Disney+
A documentary covering Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and the final performance of the tour are both set to premiere on Disney+ this upcoming December.
The highly anticipated six-part docuseries, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, is scheduled to debut on December 12th. Alongside this, fans can also look forward to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, capturing her last concert in Vancouver, B.C. on December 8, 2024.
The initial two episodes will be accessible starting December 12, with two more episodes being released each week in the following two weeks. This docuseries promises an inside look into Taylor’s life as her tour captivated fans worldwide, showcasing performances, close ones, and friends, including opening acts like Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as special guests Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch.
Furthermore, the concert film will also premiere on December 12, featuring songs from The Tortured Poets Department, following the success of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film on the big screen.
In a heartfelt announcement on her social media accounts, Taylor Swift shared her excitement about these projects, stating, “It was the End of an Era, and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
In addition to this exciting news, Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, has broken records by becoming the best-selling album for first-week sales in the U.S. With over 2.7 million copies sold in the first day alone, her 12th album has reached an impressive 4.002 million equivalent album units in just one week, encompassing both album sales and streams for the week ending on October 9th.
