Disney+ Removes Marvel Feature

Disney+ has made a change that may disappoint fans of Marvel content. As of July 1, 2025, the “Marvel Animated Rewind” Streams channel is no longer available on the service. This channel showcased classic Marvel animated shows like Spider-Man: The Animated Series and X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s, giving viewers a peek into Marvel’s TV history. Although these shows are still on Disney+, they are now only accessible individually.

Introduced just over a month before it was removed, the “Marvel Animated Rewind” channel included a selection of 16 animated Marvel series from past generations. These shows featured popular heroes like the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, and more.

While this change may disappoint Marvel fans, Disney+ is introducing new channels to keep viewers engaged. For instance, starting on July 6, National Geographic and Disney+ launched the “SharkFest” Stream, offering shark-themed content for fans of underwater creatures.

Another new channel, “Descendants and ZOMBIES,” brings together hit Disney Channel Original Movies from recent years, providing fans with a nostalgic experience. Similarly, the “Throwback” Stream is a treasure trove of late 1990s and early 2000s TV shows and movies, perfect for viewers aged 25-40 looking to reminisce on the past.

In addition, Disney+ offers the “Simpsons,” “Playtime,” and “ABC News” Streams, appealing to a wide range of audiences. Whether you’re a fan of The Simpsons, kid-friendly programming, or current events and news, Disney+ has something for everyone.

While the “Marvel Animated Rewind” channel may be gone, Disney+ continues to provide a diverse range of content for viewers to enjoy. So, even though one feature might be missing, there are plenty of new and exciting options to explore on Disney+!
