Disney+ Announces Alien Earth Release Date with Sydney Chandler in Lead Role

Disney+ has shared exciting news for fans of the Alien franchise. Alien: Earth, a prequel to the classic 1979 film Alien, is set to premiere on Wednesday, August 13. This sci-fi horror series, created by Noah Hawley and executive produced by Ridley Scott, will take viewers two years back in time before the original movie’s events.

The first two episodes of Alien: Earth will be available on Disney+ on August 13, with the remaining six episodes coming out every Wednesday until the grand finale on September 24. The show will star Sydney Chandler, known for her role in Don’t Worry Darling, as Wendy, a hybrid prototype with human consciousness.

The series follows Wendy and a group of tactical soldiers who make a startling discovery after the USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth. When Wendy and her fellow hybrids encounter mysterious life forms post-collision with a spaceship, they face unimaginable threats.
