Hulu Orders Pilot for Group Chat with Kim Kardashian and La La Anthony
Kim Kardashian is stepping up her acting game with the new comedy pilot Group Chat greenlit by Hulu. This comedy, inspired by La La Anthony’s book The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness, will feature Kim and Anthony in leading roles.
Under her deal with 20th Television, Kim will also serve as an executive producer for the show. The comedy, written and executive produced by Kenya Barris of Black-ish fame, is set to begin filming soon. If all goes well, Group Chat may become a full-fledged series on Hulu.
In addition to Group Chat, Kim is also gearing up for the release of All’s Fair, a legal drama created by Ryan Murphy. Set in Los Angeles, the series will feature Kim alongside Niecy Nash and Glenn Close as high-powered attorneys tackling major cases.
Fans may remember Kim’s previous collaboration with Murphy on American Horror Story: Delicate, where she played a memorable role as a no-nonsense PR agent. Despite the season’s mixed reviews, Kim’s stellar performance shone through, leaving audiences impressed.
As for Group Chat, the dark comedy promises to reveal hidden truths and drama beneath the surface of five successful women in their 40s. The official description from Hulu hints at a captivating storyline where the characters’ seemingly perfect lives unravel in a secret group chat.
Given Kim’s track record of success, it’s likely she’ll shine once again in Group Chat. Stay tuned for more updates on Kim Kardashian and other entertainment news right here on Kardashian Dish!
