3rd Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards Nominees Announced
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) recently announced the nominations for the 3rd Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, set to take place in Los Angeles on March 15, 2025. This year’s nominations hold special significance as they honor exceptional work that was delayed due to last year’s strikes, according to Rachel Schwartz, Head of the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards.
The competition, now in its third year, celebrates outstanding creativity and innovation in children’s entertainment, shaping the way kids and their families engage with the world. The winners of the Juried category, Public Service Initiative, were revealed, with honorees in the Individual Achievement in Animation categories to follow in early 2025.
Additionally, the Lifetime Achievement award recipient and the host and presenters for the ceremony will be announced in early 2025. Details about the events surrounding the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards ceremonies will be shared at a later date on the official website.
The nominations cover a range of categories, from Preschool Series like “Blue’s Clues & You!” on Nickelodeon to Young Teen Series such as “Goosebumps” on Disney+. The list includes Fiction Specials, Non-Fiction Programs, Animated Series, and Specials, as well as Short Form Live Action and Animated Programs, Interactive Media, and Performer categories.
