Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Gets Earlier Disney+ Premiere Date

Disney+ is bringing the premiere of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew forward a bit – now set for Monday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. Originally planned for Dec. 3, this eight-episode season will continue with new episodes every Tuesday at 6 p.m.

This Star Wars show is aimed more towards kids and promises a fresh take on the beloved franchise. The story follows four kids who stumble upon a mysterious discovery on their home planet and find themselves lost in a dangerous galaxy. Their journey home, filled with unexpected allies and foes, becomes an adventure beyond their wildest imaginations.

Jude Law will join the Star Wars universe as the enigmatic Force user, Jod Na Nawood, in this series. The talented cast also includes Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon, and Nick Frost.

Behind the camera, talented directors like Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung bring the story to life. Head writers Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, alongside executive producers Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson, ensure that this new Star Wars adventure is in good hands.
