‘Prince William Urges Action to End Homelessness in New Documentary on Disney+ Premiering November 1’

Disney+ is set to premiere the two-part documentary "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness" on November 1st. The documentary offers an exclusive look into the first year of Prince William and The Royal Foundation’s Homewards program, which is dedicated to changing perceptions and showcasing the possibility of putting an end to homelessness. Executive produced by Mindhouse and Arron Fellows and directed by BAFTA award-winning Director Leo Burley, the documentary will first air in the U.K. on ITV1, ITVX, and STV before being available on Disney+.

"We Can End Homelessness" chronicles the inaugural year of Homewards, Prince William’s ambitious five-year initiative aimed at demonstrating the feasibility of eradicating homelessness by collaborating with six locations across the U.K. The series delves behind the scenes as Prince William launches this groundbreaking program, providing unique access as he tackles the homelessness crisis. Viewers will witness his interactions with individuals who have experienced homelessness, gaining insight from their stories. In candid interviews, Prince William shares how his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, has influenced his efforts. After assembling a dedicated Homewards team to investigate homelessness nationwide, the Prince takes concrete steps, including plans to construct supported housing on his own property.
