Karan Johar to Host Indian Adaptation of ‘The Traitors’ on Prime Video
Renowned producer and director Karan Johar is gearing up to host the Indian version of the popular reality show ‘The Traitors,’ set to be streamed on Prime Video. The announcement of this exciting collaboration was made by the platform in partnership with independent distributor All3Media International. The game show, produced by BBC Studios India Productions, has garnered a strong following in over 20 countries and will now be available in Hindi with English subtitles for Indian audiences.
‘The Traitors’ is known for its unique blend of trust and deception, featuring 20 participants vying for a substantial cash prize in the grand setting of a royal palace. The intriguing twist lies in the fact that some contestants will be covertly assigned the role of ‘traitors,’ chosen by the host at the beginning of the game. As the players engage in various missions to secure the prize money, they must also navigate the challenge of identifying the traitors among them.
