The production of Shipwreck Hunters Australia has been made possible through significant investment from Screen Australia, with additional support from Screenwest, Lotterywest, and the Western Australian Regional Screen Fund, as well as Tourism Western Australia.

Leading the creative team behind the series is director and producer Brendan Hutchens of VAM Media, known for his work on projects like Drawn to Water and Walking Man. Serving as the series producer is Russell Vines, whose credits include Ningaloo: Australia’s Other Great Reef and Australia’s Sleep Revolution with Dr. Michael Mosley. Executive producer Steve Bibb, who has previously worked on Inside the Sydney Opera House and Matildas: The World at Our Feet, rounds out the team dedicated to bringing the captivating stories of Shipwreck Hunters Australia to life on screen.

As Season 2 sets sail, audiences can look forward to more gripping tales of maritime exploration, heart-stopping discoveries, and the enduring legacy of the shipwrecks that lie hidden beneath the waves along Western Australia’s treacherous coastline.
