A four-part miniseries revival of Malcolm in the Middle, called Life’s Still Unfair, is set to premiere on April 10 on Hulu and Disney+. It’s been 20 years since the original show ended in 2006, and fans are eager to see what’s in store for Malcolm and his family.

Recently, the show’s team, including executive producers and Jane Kaczmarek, who plays Malcolm’s mom Lois, shared their excitement about the possibility of a full reboot focused on Malcolm’s daughter, Leah, played by Keeley Karsten. They praised Karsten’s talent and star potential, hinting at the idea of exploring new family dynamics in a potential spinoff.

While Frankie Muniz will be reprising his role as Malcolm in the miniseries, he is currently focused on his NASCAR career. However, he expressed openness to future acting projects. Other familiar faces returning for the revival include Bryan Cranston as Hal, Chris Kennedy Masterson as Francis, Justin Berfield as Reese, and Emy Coligado as Piama. Kiana Madeira joins the cast as Malcolm’s girlfriend, Tristan, and Karsten plays his daughter, Leah. Erik Per Sullivan’s character Dewey has been recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.
