Streaming F1 on Apple TV: A Comprehensive Guide
Exciting news for Formula 1 fans! Apple is gearing up to provide live coverage of F1 races in 2026, following the success of F1: The Movie. As we get closer to the first grand prix weekend, Apple has shared what viewers can expect from the Apple TV app and beyond.
Inside the Apple TV app, a dedicated F1 channel is already live, where you can catch all the action as it happens. From practice sessions to sprint races, and pre- and post-race coverage, you won’t miss a beat. Plus, there are additional F1 videos available (definitely check out the one on the new rules) and you can even stream the latest season of Drive To Survive on Apple TV.
For the main broadcast, Apple will offer the F1 TV feed along with the Sky Sports feed for all races. Each grand prix will be shown in stunning 4K (Dolby Vision) with 5.1 audio. As a bonus for Apple TV subscribers, F1 TV Premium for the 2026 season is included. This means you’ll have access to onboard cameras, team radios, live telemetry, and full coverage of the grand prix weekend.
Excitingly, Apple has introduced some new features for F1 grands prix. You can follow your favorite drivers with the Driver Tracker, explore Driver Data, and even watch dedicated feeds for P1, P2, and P3 – all within the Apple TV app. The Multiview options are particularly impressive, allowing you to customize your viewing experience with up to five feeds at once.
For those who prefer listening, live coverage and commentary will be available on Apple Music through a dedicated radio streaming channel. And to make sure you’re fully equipped, Apple News, Apple Sports, and Apple Maps have all been updated to provide detailed information for in-person attendees.
Mark your calendars for the first race in Australia on March 6-8 (or Thursday night through Saturday night for US viewers), and get ready to experience F1 like never before thanks to Apple’s comprehensive coverage on Apple TV.
