Paramount+ Series Based on Real-Life Stockbroker Featured in Scorsese Film
Paramount+ is gearing up to release a new docuseries called “The Real Wolf of Wall Street,” which delves into the fascinating true story of Jordan Belfort and his infamous firm, Stratton Oakmont.
Scheduled to premiere in 2026, the three-part series promises to shed light on the untold details of Belfort’s extraordinary journey, revealing a side of his rise and fall that has never been seen before on screen.
Produced by Maxine Productions and See It Now Studios, “The Real Wolf of Wall Street” features exclusive interviews with insiders who have never shared their stories publicly. This series also includes 15,000 government documents that have never been released, as well as new footage that offers a deeper look into Belfort’s world.
Despite his notoriety, Jordan Belfort himself is not involved in the production of this docuseries. However, viewers can expect a raw and unfiltered narrative that explores the dark and debauched aspects of Belfort’s story.
For those unfamiliar with Belfort’s background, he was involved in a fraudulent stock scheme through Stratton Oakmont, where he manipulated stock prices to scam investors. After pleading guilty to securities fraud and money laundering in 1999, Belfort spent 22 months in federal prison before becoming an FBI informant.
While Martin Scorsese’s 2013 film “The Wolf of Wall Street,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort, brought attention to this story, the new Paramount+ series offers a fresh perspective with a focus on true-crime and insider accounts.
Executive producers include names like Mary Robertson, Anneka Jones, and Jesse Sweet, among others, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging look at Belfort’s complex and controversial narrative.
Stay tuned for “The Real Wolf of Wall Street,” coming soon to Paramount+ for a closer look at the captivating world of Jordan Belfort and the legacy he left behind.
