Tving Expands K-Drama Slate in Japan and Asia-Pacific

TVING is bringing more exciting content to viewers across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region by expanding its K-drama slate. This streaming platform, owned by CJ ENM, has lined up a new set of Korean dramas premiering this year. These shows will be available through dedicated TVING-branded sections on Disney+ Japan and HBO Max in 17 different countries and territories in Asia-Pacific.

The TVING-branded section is a specially curated space for K-content, catering to global streaming audiences. This marks the first time that this branded hub will showcase non-TVING original series from external broadcasters, providing a wider range of Korean titles to international viewers.

Some of the highlighted series include “The Judge Returns” from MBC, which premiered on Jan. 2. Produced by OH Story and Slingshot Studio, this Friday-Saturday drama is already making waves. Additionally, viewers can look forward to JTBC’s upcoming series “The Practical Guide to Love,” set to release on Feb. 28. Both of these shows are exclusive to TVING for local audiences and will be featured in the “TVING Collection” on Disney+ Japan and within the TVING-branded section on HBO Max in Asia-Pacific markets.

Exciting times lie ahead for K-drama fans, with more high-quality content becoming more accessible than ever before through these popular streaming platforms.
