Revamped Wireless Speakers with Multiple Streaming Options
Audio Pro has introduced an upgraded version of its Drumfire series of wireless speakers with the launch of the Drumfire II W and the Drumfire D-2 W. Following the success of last year’s C20 W edition, Audio Pro aims to elevate the performance and usability of these new models to the next level.
The larger Drumfire II W promises a “pure, bold sound with super crisp details,” featuring 200 watts of Class D amplification, twin textile-dome tweeters, and 13.7cm woofers to deliver an immersive audio experience. With extensive wireless connectivity options like Audio Pro multi-room listening, Google Cast, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect, you can enjoy seamless streaming. Additionally, the Drumfire II W offers physical connections such as RCA inputs and a subwoofer output for added flexibility.
Accompanying the Drumfire II W is the smaller Drumfire D-2 W, which can be used independently or mounted on its larger counterpart for enhanced sound quality. Featuring 100 watts of Class D amplification, twin textile-dome tweeters, and dual 11cm woofers, the Drumfire D-2 W delivers “pure hi-fi acoustics with deep, controlled bass and crispy highs.”
Both the Drumfire II W and the Drumfire D-2 W offer multi-room listening capabilities, along with support for Google Cast, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. Audio Pro has also updated its app for a better user experience, with a fresh layout and easy navigation for controlling all aspects of the speakers.
According to Nils Ankarcrona, CEO of Audio Pro, the Drumfire II W completes the company’s W-generation launches, offering improved sound quality, a new app, and refined design. The Drumfire D-2 W is currently available in white, grey, or black finishes for £350 / €400 / $400, while the Drumfire II W is priced at £600 / €700 / $700 in the same color options.
If you’re looking to elevate your audio experience in 2026, these new wireless speakers from Audio Pro are worth considering.
