Nashville Figure Skating Gold Medalist Prepares for 2026 Winter Olympics

Recently, we had the pleasure of chatting with Scott Hamilton, a retired figure skater residing in Nashville who clinched a gold medal in the 1984 Games. While he may not be on the ice competing these days, Hamilton now shares his expertise as a broadcaster, breaking down all the figure skating action for viewers. We asked Scott if he still feels the Team USA spirit while watching the sport he loves so much, and he shared, “Yes. I love the sport, it’s given me everything I have. It’s everything that I am. It all roots back to getting on the ice.”
