Official Trailer for Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age—Thrilling Scenes of Survival, Snow, and Giant Teeth
Apple TV+’s Prehistoric Planet is back with a thrilling new season, leaving dinosaurs behind and showcasing the fascinating Ice Age animals. This time around, we will get to see strikingly lifelike mammoths, giant ground sloths, dire wolves, and other Pleistocene-era creatures battle extreme climate changes. Narrated by Tom Hiddleston, the five-episode series is set to premiere on November 26.
What sets Prehistoric Planet apart is its dedication to scientific accuracy. To bring these ancient worlds to life, it took a team of over 1,500 paleoartists, dinosaur experts, CGI artists, and filmmakers—talk about a group effort!
Tim Walker, the series’ producer, aims to create a documentary that mirrors the quality of those from the BBC Natural History Unit. Expert paleozoologist Darren Naish helps ensure the authenticity of the show. Collaborating closely with the team, Naish is excited to have contributed to crafting the series.
Season 3 promises to be a captivating experience, featuring clashes between woolly rhinos, saber-toothed cats, and other Ice Age megafauna. Some lesser-known species will also take the spotlight—from the Columbian mammoth to car-sized armadillos. The action-packed episodes will explore various habitats and highlight the struggles of these ancient creatures in the face of challenging environmental changes.
Taking viewers through “The Big Freeze” and “The Big Melt,” the season will dive deep into the significant climatic shifts that defined the Ice Age. The new episodes promise to be visually striking, offering a realistic and dramatic look at one of Earth’s most transformational periods. Don’t miss out on this exciting journey through prehistory!
