The NBA has just introduced a new digital initiative called “Tap to Watch” that makes it easier than ever for fans to find and access live NBA game telecasts starting this season. This innovative feature will guide fans directly to live national and local games on various digital platforms, including ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock, Prime Video, and most local games.
Through the NBA App, NBA.com, team apps, and websites, fans can now access game telecasts from national and local media partners, as well as other NBA partners like Google, Meta, X, Snap, Reddit, Roku, Dapper Labs, and more. As the season progresses, additional integrations with partners like FanDuel, Fanatics, Yahoo Sports, and other digital and connected TV platforms will be introduced.

Fans can enjoy a seamless experience with Tap to Watch – they can find and watch live NBA games through league and team digital platforms, which act as gateways to basketball content. By simply tapping the “watch” button on the “Games” and “Schedule” pages on NBA.com, the NBA App, or team sites, fans will be directed to the appropriate streaming service (national, local, or NBA League Pass based on the game and location) to start watching if subscribed or sign up if not.
Additionally, fans can look forward to “Watch” call-to-actions across various digital and social media platforms, tailor-made for each platform, that will guide them to the correct national or local live game telecast.
What’s more, the NBA App is introducing Real-Time Scores, featuring a live ticking clock with scores synced with NBA arenas in real-time.
