Apple TV partners with NBC’s Peacock for streaming bundle
Apple has some exciting news for streaming fans! They are teaming up with Comcast’s NBCUniversal to offer a new streaming bundle that combines the best of both worlds, including live events like NBA games, popular shows like Ted Lasso, and blockbuster movies. And the best part? It’s only $15 (S$19.40) a month!
This new bundle, which will be available starting Oct 20, brings together Apple TV (formerly known as AppleTV+) and NBC’s Peacock. By joining forces, they are able to offer a wide range of content at a savings of more than 30% compared to subscribing to each service separately.
NBCUniversal Media Group chairman, Mr. Matt Strauss, shared that they are focused on making the customer experience seamless and enjoyable. With this bundle, viewers can enjoy the best of both platforms in one place, making it easier than ever to access their favorite shows and movies.
Other TV networks are also jumping on the bundle bandwagon, with Fox and Walt Disney’s ESPN launching their own streaming deal recently. As more viewers shift away from traditional cable packages, these bundles offer a convenient and cost-effective way to access a variety of content.
If you’re a sports fan, you’ll be happy to know that Peacock will start streaming NBA games on Oct 21, thanks to a big deal signed in 2024. And if you’re an Apple TV fan, you’ll be excited to hear that their original series like Severance have been making waves at the Emmy Awards.
Whether you’re into live sports, movie marathons, or binge-watching your favorite shows, this new streaming bundle has something for everyone. So mark your calendars for Oct 20 and get ready to enjoy the best of Apple TV and Peacock all in one place!
