Prime Video partners with Screenline for two new scripted projects

Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service has partnered with France’s Screenline Productions to bring viewers two exciting new projects. The first is a feature film called Tempête, directed by Edouard Salier and co-written by Matthieu Rumani and Nicolas Slomka. Set during the devastating storm of December 1999 in France, the story follows Chloe, a rebellious blind teenager who attends a party and gets stranded with her crush Erwan when the storm hits.

The second project is a television adaptation of Joël Dicker’s best-selling thriller, Un Animal Sauvage. This psychological thriller kicks off with a robbery in a Geneva jewelry store and delves into a police officer’s dangerous obsession with his neighbor.

Screenline Productions is thrilled to bring these projects to life, following the success of their previous work. Alexia Laroche-Joubert and Frédéric Lussato expressed excitement about working with Prime Video on Tempête, a film that explores young love and resilience in a captivating way. They also teased that Un Animal Sauvage will keep audiences hooked with its intricate storytelling.
