Justin Jefferson camouflages as a nerdy photographer for Eli Manning’s TV show

Justin Jefferson recently made a surprising appearance on Eli Manning’s Prime Video series, “The Undercovers.” In the latest episode, which is set to start streaming soon, the star Vikings wide receiver took on a whole new persona.

Jefferson disguised himself as Darius Frost, a nature photographer, complete with a wig, fake nose, bucket hat, and glasses. In a hilarious twist, he claimed to know nothing about football and professed his love for bird-watching instead. Sporting a higher-pitched voice, Jefferson tried to fool his coaches and General Manager at the TCO Performance Center with mixed success.

Although head coach Kevin O’Connell was in on the prank, he couldn’t believe his eyes when Jefferson revealed his true identity post-makeover. The reactions were priceless, with O’Connell noting that Jefferson’s face looked “fatter” after the transformation.

The episode also featured Jefferson visiting the West St. Paul Dome under the guise of learning about flag football. However, he ended up impressing unsuspecting participants with his skills once he got into the action.

Hosted by Eli Manning, the series showcases a den filled with trophies and videotapes, featuring everything from movies to sports bloopers. Even though Manning was not physically present in Minnesota for the taping, he still made sure to guide Jefferson through the show via phone, including teaching him how to do the “Griddy.”

Jefferson, typically used to being the center of attention, expressed his joy at being able to divert the focus elsewhere. His brief foray into acting left him wondering if he might have a future in the field.

To prepare for the role, Jefferson soaked in some Minnesota trivia, including facts about the state bird and muffin. This experience seemed to genuinely amuse him and provided a new perspective on his talents beyond the football field.

Prior episodes of “The Undercovers” have featured other NFL stars like Micah Parsons and Baker Mayfield, proving that the series is both entertaining and exciting for fans. It’s clear that Jefferson’s unexpected turn on the show will only add to its charm and appeal.
