Apple Launches Streaming TV Bundle with Comcast’s Peacock
Apple and NBCUniversal have teamed up to offer a brand new streaming bundle that combines Apple TV and Peacock into one subscription starting on October 20. This exciting partnership marks the first collaboration of its kind between these two media giants, providing customers with a wide range of content including original series, live sports, and blockbuster movies.
With titles like “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Paper,” and “How to Train Your Dragon,” along with NBA games debuting on Peacock next week, the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle aims to deliver top-notch entertainment to subscribers. U.S. customers can enjoy savings of over 30% with pricing set at $15 per month for Apple TV and Peacock Premium, or $20 per month for Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus. Subscriptions can be easily purchased through either platform’s app or website.
Matt Strauss, Chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “There is no more perfect combination of entertainment than the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle, with our complementary content portfolios featuring the best shows, movies, sports, and live events.” Oliver Schusser, Apple’s Vice President of Apple TV, Apple Music, Sports, and Beats, added that the bundle will provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for consumers by uniting the best of entertainment in one place.
As part of this collaboration, users of both apps will have the opportunity to preview select content from the other service. Peacock subscribers can watch up to three episodes of Apple TV titles like “Slow Horses” and “Palm Royale,” while Apple TV app users can sample episodes of Peacock series such as “Law & Order” and “Bel-Air.”
This innovative partnership not only expands access to both brands’ programming but also offers subscribers a convenient way to enjoy a variety of content from two well-known platforms. With the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle, customers can access a diverse selection of entertainment in one simple package.
