HBO Max Launches in 15 New Markets, Including Pakistan

HBO Max has officially launched in 15 new markets, including countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Macau, Sri Lanka, and Ukraine. This is exciting news for fans of HBO’s globally renowned shows, as they can now access iconic titles from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., DC Universe, Discovery, and the Wizarding World, all in one place.

Some of the popular titles available on HBO Max include shows like Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin, and The Pitt. Additionally, viewers can enjoy Hollywood blockbusters such as Superman, A Minecraft Movie, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix collections, and Harry Potter films.

For reality TV enthusiasts, Discovery’s Deadliest Catch and Gold Rush are also available to stream on the platform. And for children, popular shows like Tom and Jerry, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, and Looney Tunes are among the offerings. Classic sitcoms like Friends and The Big Bang Theory are expected to join the platform in January 2026.

Looking ahead, HBO Max is set to release new Max Originals, including IT: Welcome to Derry, premiering on October 27, which is a prequel series set in Stephen King’s IT universe. Subscribers can create up to five personalized profiles, including kid-friendly accounts with parental controls. The platform is compatible with LG and Samsung smart TVs, among other major devices, and users can continue streaming even while traveling to countries where HBO Max is available.
