Georgia Tech Football Update: #ProJackets Performance Review

This week in #ProJackets Football, Georgia Tech kickers Aidan Birr and Harrison Butker impressed with 50+ yard kicks for their respective teams. Let’s dive into the details of how our Yellow Jackets alumni are faring in the NFL.

Starting with Zeek Biggers (DT–Miami Dolphins), the rookie did not make an appearance in Week 2 but is gearing up to face the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

Harrison Butker (K–Kansas City Chiefs) had a solid Week 2, hitting a 56-yard field goal in the Chiefs’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He is set to play against the New York Giants on Sunday.

Next up is Jackson Hawes (TE–Buffalo Bills), who caught 1 pass for 5 yards in the Bills’ victory over the New York Jets. Known for his exceptional blocking skills, Hawes is making a mark in his rookie season.

Jordan Mason (RB–Minnesota Vikings) carried the ball 9 times for 30 yards and caught 2 passes for 8 yards in the Vikings’ recent loss to the Atlanta Falcons. With an injury sidelining Aaron Jones, Mason will have an increased role in the Vikings’ offense.

Juanyeh Thomas (S–Dallas Cowboys) made 3 total tackles in the Cowboys’ thrilling overtime win against the New York Giants. He is set to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Darren Waller (TE–Miami Dolphins) did not play in Week 2 but will be facing the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

Keion White (DE–New England Patriots) missed Week 2 due to injury but will be back in action against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Additionally, three former Yellow Jackets—Adam Gotsis, E.J. Jenkins, and Devin Cochran—are on practice squads for various NFL teams.

As for Georgia Tech football tickets, there are still available seats for the remaining home games at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. Don’t miss out on exciting matchups and special events, including Family Weekend, Homecoming, and more.

Fans can also take advantage of the Hike and Spike package, which includes tickets to the football game against Temple and a volleyball showdown against rival Georgia.
