Georgia Tech Football Update: #ProJackets Report
This week’s #ProJackets report highlights the impressive performances of Georgia Tech alumni in the NFL. Zeek Biggers of the Miami Dolphins showcased his skills with five tackles in Week 16, proving his worth in the defensive line rotation. Meanwhile, Keion White of the San Francisco 49ers continued his strong play, recording a QB hit for the third consecutive week.
In his first NFL season, Zeek Biggers made an impact against the Cincinnati Bengals with five tackles on just 25 snaps. The Miami Dolphins will look to him for continued production in the final weeks of the regular season. Catch him in action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday on FOX.
Harrison Butker, in his ninth NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs, was responsible for all nine points in a recent game against the Tennessee Titans. He will face the Denver Broncos this Thursday on Prime Video.
Another standout performer is Jackson Hawes of the Buffalo Bills, who delivered two catches for 26 yards in a victory over the Cleveland Browns. As the top tight end in the NFL with an 86.6 offensive grade on PFF, Hawes is a key player to watch. The Bills are in contention for the AFC East title and have secured a playoff berth.
Jordan Mason of the Minnesota Vikings had a solid performance against the New York Giants, contributing with two carries and one catch. Look out for him in the upcoming game against the Detroit Lions on Netflix.
Unfortunately, Juanyeh Thomas of the Dallas Cowboys is out for the season due to migraines. However, Darren Waller of the Miami Dolphins returned from retirement and has been a key player with three catches for 40 yards in a recent game.
Finally, Keion White of the San Francisco 49ers continued his strong play with three tackles, a QB hit, and a QB hurry against the Indianapolis Colts. Joining the 49ers mid-season, White has been a game-changer for the team, contributing to their 6-1 record since his arrival.
Additionally, three former Jackets are on practice squads: DL Adam Gotsis with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, TE E.J. Jenkins with the Philadelphia Eagles, and OL Devin Cochran with the Detroit Lions.
