Disney Expands with Atresmedia TV Series on Disney+

The Walt Disney Company recently struck a deal with Spanish media group Atresmedia, expanding the content available on Disney+ in Spain. Starting this September, Disney+ subscribers in Spain can enjoy popular TV series like “Casa de papel,” also known as “Money Heist” in English, as well as “Veneno,” and “Gran Hotel” under the Atresmedia label. This agreement gives Disney+ co-exclusive rights to a range of Atresmedia productions, enriching the Spanish-made content available on the platform.

Earlier in July, Disney had announced a similar partnership with Britain’s ITV to enhance their respective streaming offerings. The Walt Disney Company is a leading American multinational entertainment conglomerate operating through three core business segments: Disney Entertainment, ESPN, and Disney Experiences.
