Disney Signs Streaming Deal with Money Heist Creators

Disney is at it again, broadening its global horizons with a recent deal with the Spanish media group Atresmedia. If you haven’t heard of them, Atresmedia is the mastermind behind the hit series “Casa de papel,” known to American audiences as “Money Heist.”

This collaboration focuses on streaming, allowing Disney+ viewers in Spain to enjoy the series on the platform. The agreement gives Disney+ co-exclusive rights to a variety of Atresmedia productions, enriching its collection of Spanish content.

While this deal doesn’t specify future collaborations, it marks Disney’s second significant international streaming partnership this year. Recently, Disney struck a similar agreement with Britain’s ITV, enabling both platforms to feature each other’s productions.
