First Official Trailer for ‘Percy Jackson & The Olympians’ Season 2 Available Now
The first teaser trailer for Percy Jackson & The Olympians season 2 has been revealed! The cast and crew showcased it at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con at Hall H. In the trailer, we catch a glimpse of Percy Jackson embarking on his next adventure as he returns to Camp Half-Blood, engaging in intense battles, a thrilling chariot race, and meets his cyclops half-brother, Tyson, portrayed by Daniel Deimer.
Season 2 of Percy Jackson is based on the second book of the series, The Sea of Monsters, while the recently announced season 3, currently in development, will draw inspiration from the third book, Titan’s Curse. The official release date for season 2 is December 10, and it will be available for streaming on Disney+.
The official synopsis for Percy Jackson season 2 reads: “Season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on The Sea of Monsters – the second installment of Disney Hyperion’s best-selling book series by award-winning author Rick Riordan. Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world in chaos. His dynamic with Annabeth is evolving, he discovers he has a cyclops sibling, Grover is missing, and the camp is under attack by Kronos. Percy’s quest to restore order takes him into uncharted waters and the perilous Sea of Monsters, where a mysterious destiny awaits the son of Poseidon.”
