Apple TV’s ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 Production Kick Off in Kansas City
Apple TV+ has officially kicked off production for the fourth season of “Ted Lasso,” with much of the original cast returning and some fresh faces joining the Emmy-winning comedy series. Filming started in Kansas City on July 21, actor Jason Sudeikis’s hometown, and will continue in London.
The fourth season will see Sudeikis reprising his role as Ted, alongside the returning cast of Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. Newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely, who plays Ted’s son, Henry, will also be part of the team.
In this new season, Ted faces a new challenge coaching a second-division women’s football team back in Richmond. The season promises to bring moments of risk-taking and growth as Ted and the team navigate uncharted waters.
Excitingly, Emmy Award winner Jack Burditt joins as an executive producer for the upcoming season. The show’s creators, including Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence, continue to lead the project, ensuring an engaging storyline and memorable characters.
