Disney+ offers free viewing of top shows like Andor
Disney Plus has made a selection of its biggest shows available to stream for free in partnership with ITVX. This collaboration brings beloved titles, such as Desperate Housewives and Andor, to audiences at no additional cost.
Starting from July 16, ITVX users can enjoy a curated collection of Disney+ offerings named Taste of Disney+. The lineup is expected to grow over time, with exciting additions like The Bear. In return, Disney Plus subscribers in the UK now have access to a handpicked selection of ITV content through Taste of ITVX, without any extra charges.
ITVX users can now tune into 12 Disney Plus titles, including popular shows like Mr Bates Vs. The Post Office, Love Island, and Vera. This collaboration strengthens the existing relationship between ITVX and Disney Plus, with shows like Disney’s Renegade Nell already available on ITVX.
Kevin Lygo, ITV’s managing director of media and entertainment, expressed excitement about the partnership, noting that it brings more quality content to viewers on ITVX and expands opportunities for audiences to discover and enjoy unique titles and services.
Karl Holmes, the general manager for Disney Plus EMEA, highlighted the benefit of sharing popular UK content, stating that it helps engage audiences who may not be as familiar with traditional free-to-air content. The addition of ITV shows to Disney Plus and vice versa creates a richer streaming experience for viewers of both services.
Some of the Disney Plus shows now available on ITVX include Mr Bates Vs. The Post Office, A Spy Among Friends, and Love Island All Stars 2025. On the other hand, ITV content, such as Vera, Endeavour, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (Series 34), can now be accessed by Disney Plus subscribers.
ITVX is free to watch in the UK, with an option for ad-free viewing through ITVX Premium for £5.99 per month. Disney Plus subscriptions start at £4.99 per month with ads, providing a wide range of entertainment options for subscribers of both services.
