Disney+ releases new footage for Wonder Man, Percy Jackson, and Alien: Earth

Disney+ recently treated fans to an exciting new sizzle reel, giving us a glimpse into the many highly-anticipated series set to debut in the second half of 2025. Among the shows highlighted in the reel are Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Alien: Earth, and the Marvel TV series Wonder Man.

In the footage, we catch a glimpse of Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery in Wonder Man, offering advice to Simon Williams/Wonder Man, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, about turning things around. From the brief clips shown, it seems Simon, a struggling actor turned superhero, is having a hard time adjusting to his newfound powers, inadvertently causing chaos with his abilities. Wonder Man is set to premiere on Disney+ this December.

The Alien: Earth clip included in the reel features shots we’ve seen before, giving us a peek at Wendy’s character and her team investigating a crash-landed space vessel housing deadly Xenomorphs. The teaser also shows a synth engaging in mysterious brain activity and a tense encounter with one of the alien creatures. Alien: Earth is slated to premiere on August 12 in the US on FX and Hulu, and on Disney+ internationally.

Lastly, Percy Jackson and the Olympians fans were treated to new footage from the upcoming second season, which will adapt The Sea of Monsters from Rick Riordan’s book series. The reel offers a thrilling glimpse of the iconic chariot race sequence from the book, as well as a look at the characters clashing swords and sporting new armor. The second season is set to premiere on Disney+ this December.
