capitals broadcasting schedule changes for two remaining games.

The Washington Capitals have made some changes to their broadcast schedule for the last two games of the 2024-25 season. The game on April 10 against the Carolina Hurricanes will now be broadcast locally on Monumental Sports Network in addition to the national broadcast on ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu. This change was made to celebrate Alex Ovechkin breaking the NHL goals record in a special pregame ceremony. Fans can look forward to an hour-long version of Capitals Pregame Live starting at 6:30 p.m., live ceremony coverage, and a special edition of Capitals Postgame Live after the game. Caps Rink Report will also be available on the Monumental+ app at 12:00 p.m. ET on Thursday.

The Capitals’ final game of the regular season on April 17 against the Pittsburgh Penguins will now be exclusively broadcast on ESPN.
