Tom Hiddleston on Paving the Way for Pompeii: Out of Time

Tom Hiddleston is excited to share his new National Geographic series, Pompeii: Out of Time, with the world. If you’re a Marvel fan, you might remember that in a Loki episode, Loki and Mobius time-traveled to Pompeii in 79 AD, right before Mount Vesuvius erupted. Tom actually suggested this scene to the Loki team because of his passion for both Pompeii and Loki, not because he was trying to plan his next big project. It’s pretty amazing how two of his interests came together in this new show. So, whether you’re a history buff, a Marvel fanatic, or just looking for a new series to dive into, Pompeii: Out of Time is definitely worth checking out. It’s fascinating to see how Tom’s visit to Pompeii in 1998 has come full circle to inspire this captivating docudrama.
