Diarra Detroit Season 2 Trailer: New Case Teased
The second season of “Diarra From Detroit” is dropping on July 29th, and Paramount+ has given us a sneak peek with an exciting trailer featuring lead star Diarra Kilpatrick. The show, created by Kilpatrick, will debut with two episodes and continue on a weekly basis until September 9. Season 2 promises a summer of adventures for Diarra, who uncovers a dangerous path while on a seemingly innocent furniture recovery job.
In this season, Diarra’s resolve is tested as she navigates a treacherous journey into Detroit’s criminal underbelly. The story unfolds through an undercover operation and a frantic search for hidden treasures, making her personal life more complicated in the process.
The trailer introduces us to new faces joining the cast, including Method Man, Morris Chestnut, Glynn Turman, and Bokeem Woodbine. We’ll also see familiar friends and colleagues from Diarra’s past adventures, played by DomiNque Perry, Bryan Terrell Clark, and Jon Chaffin. Plus, Shannon Wallace, Phylicia Rashad, and Harry Lennix make appearances in the show’s new season.
Building on the success of its debut season, “Diarra From Detroit” earned high praise, including nominations for the NAACP Image Award and Independent Spirit Award. Diarra Kilpatrick, the creative mastermind behind the series, was also recognized with a Gracie Award for her breakthrough performance.
